Which AI does it use? Do I need my own API key?
FableForge works with Anthropic (Claude), Groq, or fully local models via Ollama. You bring your own key (or run locally for free) — your key stays in your Mac's Keychain and is never sent to us.
What Macs does it run on?
Any Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later — Apple Silicon and Intel. The app is signed and notarized by Apple.
How many Macs can I use one license on?
Up to 3 Macs that you own. You can deactivate a Mac any time from within the app to free up a seat.
